Winter Snow by Jo-Ann Hughes

A crisp crunch of light filled fronds,

that frost halos to Mother.

Crystals of gleam in white edges,

reveal symmetry in interwoven

winking and twinkling.

Guardians of secrets that cover earth’s aching,

crunching tears

of Heaven’s frozen tears.
